Showing community support for our heroes

Communities across the world are coming together to show their support for the many people who are on the front line working tirelessly to fight COVID-19. Known as a “cacerolazo”, which loosely means banging on pots and pans as a political protest in spanish-speaking countries, it has instead come to mean a loud show of support during the pandemic.  In Waterloo, a cacerolazo has been taking place every night  on front porches and driveways at 7:30 p.m.

The Beechwood community, home to many healthcare workers and others who leave the safety of their homes every day to keep our community and country functioning, are encouraged to join in!
