The pool is slated to open starting Saturday, June 4th, <\/strong>pending good weather. The guard team is super excited to see everyone at the pool. As of right now, we are expecting a normal summer with pool activity and capacity back to pre COVID-19 levels. Hooray! Tennis courts are open! Beechwood Community Garage Sale – May 28, 2022<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Who?<\/strong> All neighbours in Upper Beechwood and Beechwood West The garage sale is held in conjunction with Upper Beechwood #1 and #2, and Beechwood West #1 and #2 Homes Associations. The event will be advertised and it attracts many visitors to the area at garage sale time. Don\u2019t miss the opportunity to clear out basements, garages and playrooms. Get ready for the summer and make a few dollars in the process. Set up early as the keen garage sale visitors will be around soon after 8am!<\/p>\n\n\n\n Do you have any working strings of white outdoor lights that are no longer being used? UB1 is looking for donations of white lights to use for social and pool events to help light up the facility and enhance the festive spirit. There will be an official opening party on Friday, June 17th from 5pm to 8pm<\/strong>. This is a good time to meet all the guards, catch up with neighbours, and to participate in some fun activities the guards are planning. Pizza, pop and chips will be available to purchase at this event.

We are still searching for a tennis teacher to work during August (August 1st to 26th). If you know of any senior high school students or university students who play tennis regularly, and who are interested in a great paid experience teaching our kids, please ask them to email Andrea, our Tennis Director, at upperbeechwood1tennis@gmail.com<\/a>.
