Dear UB1 members,

Please see below for some important pool information from the guard team:

Pool opening party<\/strong>\u00a0
Please join us this Friday from 5pm to 8pm for the pool opening party.\u00a0We will be selling pizza (cheese and pepperoni) for $1 per slice\u00a0from 5:00 to\u00a06:30pm.\u00a0Pop and chips will also be sold. During that time, we will also be playing games and doing a special craft on the basketball court, with prizes! After that, we will be playing some games in the pool. Please bring a towel and bathing suit. If your\u00a0child hasn\u2019t passed the swim test, we would like to ask that they are accompanied by an adult and a PDF (can be provided by the pool facility) to participate in the full pool game. We can\u2019t wait to welcome you all back for another amazing summer. See you there!

Bronze Medallion and Cross Classes<\/strong>
Bronze courses will\u00a0run at UB1 from August 29th to September 2nd.\u00a0Registration is now open for UB1 members, and will open for the general public on\u00a0July 8th.\u00a0Please email\u00a0ub1guards@gmail.com<\/a>\u00a0to register.\u00a0

First Swim Lesson Session<\/strong>
Swim lesson signup for session 1 will be\u00a0June 29th at 5 pm in person on the basket ball courts. Please mark your calendars. Session 1 swimming\u00a0and tennis lessons will start on July 4th.\u00a0

Swim Volunteers Wanted<\/strong>
Members age 13 and older can request to volunteer at UB1 with swimming lessons and events throughout the summer. This volunteering position requires a commitment to arrive on time and be available throughout the entire session. We love all of the help we can get! Yoga<\/strong>
Yoga classes<\/a> with Amanda run\u00a0on Wednesdays from 7pm to 8pm through to August 31th.\u00a0Yoga will take place on the basketball court.\u00a0There is a $5 drop in fee payable to the instructor.
