Dear UB1 members,<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We had a great turn out for the Ice Cream Truck event last Thursday. Thank you to all the members who came out to enjoy an ice cream treat. We saw lots of neighbours socializing at UB1 and on the surrounding streets as the ice cream truck made its rounds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The pool closes tomorrow at 6:00pm for the season. Work will then begin to ready UB1 for next year. Chlorine “knock out” will be added to the pool water this Tuesday to neutralize it before the pool is drained later in the week. Once this is complete, the pool will be scraped and prepped for painting. If you have any questions about this work, please contact our UB1 President, Monica Heinrich<\/a>. There is also more landscaping planned in the next couple of weeks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Please note that the tennis and basketball courts will remain open into the Fall for member enjoyment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n There are plans in the works for the UB1 Winter Holiday Walk and house lights competition event. More details will follow in late November. <\/p>\n\n\n\n We would like to take this opportunity to thank all of our staff and members for a successful 2022 season. It was so nice to have a more “normal” summer again and to see so many members enjoying the facilities.
