The Government has asked non essential businesses to close as of midnight Wednesday.\u00a0 This is a prelude to a total lockdown if people don’t heed the Ministry of Health’s advice to stay home and to practice social distancing.\u00a0 This virus can be\u00a0contained if people stay at home and refrain from interacting with even their close\u00a0neighbours.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Furthermore, limit excursions outside for only essential items only.\u00a0 And ensure you keep at least 2 meters away from other shoppers.\u00a0\u00a0Please don’t visit your local pharmacy for anything without calling them first. Your\u00a0pharmacist does not have the protection afforded by other healthcare providers like doctors and nurses. Even catching a simple cold will now shut the pharmacy down,\u00a0limiting your pharmaceutical service. Most pharmacies are offering free delivery and
99% of health concerns and advice can be addressed over the phone.\u00a0 Keep your\u00a0pharmacists healthy by not making them sick.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Also stockpiling medications, sanitizers has caused a shortage. There should be enough medicines for everyone in Canada, however the irresponsible and irrational stockpiling of medications by panicked citizens has caused widespread shortages. You can help reverse this artificial shortage by stopping this irrational stockpiling of products.
