Pool News<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\nPlease note that starting tomorrow, August 17th, the pool will be closing at 8:30pm. The last half hour of free swim from 8:00pm to 8:30pm, will be walk-in only. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Tennis Lessons<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\nThe last session of tennis lessons will be from August 17-21 and August 24-28. The schedule will be sent directly to those who have signed up.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

let Art and Sue Winter know at upperbeechwood1tennis@gmail.com<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\nWeek Seven Activities – Hawaiian Luau week<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\nHey UB1! Last week\u2019s Art theme was great, and we had an awesome turnout at our talent night! This week is Hawaiian Luau week! In addition, on Tuesday night at 7pm we will have a Family Bingo Night<\/strong>. More details are below:<\/p>\n\n\n\nMake-it Monday<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\nThis week you will be making homemade leis at home! A lei is a common symbol of love, friendship and celebration. Below is a picture for inspiration. You will need straws, yarn and coloured paper cut into flowers. Punch holes into the paper flowers to string them onto the yarn, alternating small pieces of straw and paper flowers. After you repeat the pattern several times, tie the ends and wear the lei around your neck!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It will begin at 7PM on Tuesday August 18th and take place on the basketball courts. Fill out this google form<\/a> to sign up!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
