There are&nbsp;approximately 100 kids participating in the parade tonight. Families can jump on the parade at any time between 6:00pm and 7:00pm. Please follow the arrows indicated on the map below and indicated on the sidewalk as each side of the street will be moving in a different direction to ensure physical distancing.<br><br>The social committee has made up goodie bags for each child who preregistered.&nbsp;<strong>Please bring a shopping bag as the goodie bags are made of paper and they may rip!<\/strong><br><br>The weather forecast shows a clear but chilly night&nbsp; (-1C with the wind chill) so please dress accordingly, including wearing a proper face mask. Also, please keep an eye out for the blue moon tonight &#8211; a rare&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ctvnews.ca\/sci-tech\/rare-blue-moon-will-be-seen-on-halloween-across-canada-1.5168725\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">blue moon on Hallowee&#8217;en<\/a>, the first&nbsp;since 1944.&nbsp;&nbsp;<br><br><strong>Reminders:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Special goodie bags of candy have been&nbsp;made up&nbsp;for each child who signed&nbsp;up in advance. The goodie bag&nbsp;will be waiting for them&nbsp;as they pass the UB1 pool.&nbsp;Kids must be signed up&nbsp;to receive a goodie bag.<\/li><li>Family members are welcome&nbsp;to join the parade.<\/li><li>In keeping with the Regional and Provincial guidelines, we ask that you&nbsp;<strong>respect social distancing during the parade and wear a mask<\/strong>&nbsp;(not just a Halloween mask) to make this a fun, safe event.<\/li><li>UB1 neighbours are welcome to dress up and come to the parade route to watch the parade or even make a sign for tricks as the kids pass by.&nbsp;If you live on the parade route, we&#8217;d love to see your best Halloween decorations (there are some great ones already out on Clair Creek) and hear your spooky music.&nbsp;<\/li><li>Please note, trick-or-treaters may still come out in addition to the parade.
