| Dear UB1 members, Please see below for some important pool information from the guard team: Pool opening party Please join us this Friday from 5pm to 8pm for the pool opening party. We will be selling pizza (cheese and pepperoni) for $1 per slice from 5:00 to 6:30pm. Pop and chips will also be sold. During that time, we will also be playing games and doing a special craft on the basketball court, with prizes! After that, we will be playing some games in the pool. Please bring a towel and bathing suit. If your child hasn’t passed the swim test, we would like to ask that they are accompanied by an adult and a PDF (can be provided by the pool facility) to participate in the full pool game. We can’t wait to welcome you all back for another amazing summer. See you there! Bronze Medallion and Cross Classes Bronze courses will run at UB1 from August 29th to September 2nd. Registration is now open for UB1 members, and will open for the general public on July 8th. Please email ub1guards@gmail.com to register. First Swim Lesson Session Swim lesson signup for session 1 will be June 29th at 5 pm in person on the basket ball courts. Please mark your calendars. Session 1 swimming and tennis lessons will start on July 4th. Swim Volunteers Wanted Members age 13 and older can request to volunteer at UB1 with swimming lessons and events throughout the summer. This volunteering position requires a commitment to arrive on time and be available throughout the entire session. We love all of the help we can get! There is a $5 drop in fee payable to the instructor. Please bring your own mat, water bottle and bug spray if it is buggy!
