Dear UB1 members,
The UB1 Social Committee would like to invite you to a low-touch holiday neighbourhood celebration on December 10th from 6:00pm to 7:00pm. The event will include a walking tour of the UB1 neighbourhood and a scavenger hunt. There will also be a special treat at the pool house where we will be collecting food and monetary donations for the Food Bank.
How can I participate?
- Join the walking tour from 6:00pm to 7:00pm on Thursday, December 10th.
- Decorate your house! The walking tour will include the Branstone-Clair Creek loop so if you live on the loop, we would love it if you would decorate your house for the holidays. String up some lights, hang up some decorations or make a snowman! If there are other UB1 streets or courts who would like to participate with decorated houses, please let us know and we will include your street in the walking tour as well. All participating houses will be entered into a decorating contest. A map of the walking route will be sent closer to December 10.
- Drop by the pool house to pick up your special treat and drop off non- perishable food items or money for the Food Bank.
- UB1 members with a musical talent are invited to play for their neighbours (i.e., playing an instrument, singing a holiday song) either in their driveway on the walking tour loop or at a safe distance at the pool house.
- In keeping with the Regional and Provincial guidelines, we ask that you respect social distancing during the parade and wear a mask to make this a fun, safe event.

In the event that the current COVID situation changes (i.e., move from red zone to gray), we may have to make some modifications to this event. Thank you for your understanding.
