UB1 Neighbour and Pharmacist shares COVID-19 advice

The Government has asked non essential businesses to close as of midnight Wednesday.  This is a prelude to a total lockdown if people don’t heed the Ministry of Health’s advice to stay home and to practice social distancing.  This virus can be contained if people stay at home and refrain from interacting with even their close neighbours.

Furthermore, limit excursions outside for only essential items only.  And ensure you keep at least 2 meters away from other shoppers.  Please don’t visit your local pharmacy for anything without calling them first. Your pharmacist does not have the protection afforded by other healthcare providers like doctors and nurses. Even catching a simple cold will now shut the pharmacy down, limiting your pharmaceutical service. Most pharmacies are offering free delivery and
99% of health concerns and advice can be addressed over the phone.  Keep your pharmacists healthy by not making them sick.

Also stockpiling medications,  sanitizers has caused a shortage.  There should be enough medicines for everyone in Canada,  however the irresponsible and irrational stockpiling of medications by panicked citizens has caused widespread shortages. You can help reverse this artificial shortage by stopping this irrational stockpiling of products.
Let’s fight this thing together.  It’s possible.  Let’s behave rationally.  STAY HOME!!
