Just a reminder that the Ice Cream Truck will be circulating through the UB1 neighbourhood tomorrow night. There is still time to buy tickets! Please see below for details and the ice cream truck route.
Yoga Night – Thursday, September 3rd
UB1 is hosting another yoga night on Thursday at 7:30pm in the basketball courts.The cost is $5.00 payable to Eva, the instructor, during the class. There is no need to sign up in advance, just come out for a good stretch!
Ice Cream Carnival Night – Tomorrow night – Wednesday, September 2nd!
To celebrate the end of the season, “Classic Cone” Ice Cream Truck will be driving around the UB1 neighbourhood to deliver ice cream to our members from 5:30 pm to 8:00 pm. Please see below for the map showing the stop closest to your house. Associate members can safely social distance at the UB1 stop at 5:30pm. It is a great way to get out and safely see your neighbours while enjoying a frozen treat! UB1 life guards and the board of directors will also be parading the streets to say “hello” and celebrate the end of the summer season with you.
Tickets are $1.00 per ice cream cone/slushie. The event is being subsidized by UB1 and a City of Waterloo Neighbourhood Matching Fund. The ice cream truck will not accept cash so please get your tickets in advance, if you have not already. Tickets can still be purchased from the guards in the guard office tomorrow (please bring exact change).
Ice cream options:
- Soft serve cones – vanilla, chocolate, or twist (chocolate dip, sprinkles, Oreo or peanut dip options)
- Slushies – Blueberry, lemon lime, cherry, orange and grape
